Whether is pet is having a minor procedure or a major surgery at our facility, local anesthesia will be a part of their multi-modal pain management plan. Local anesthetics cause a loss of sensation in the area where they are placed and can reduce the amount of sedatives and general anesthesia drugs that are required increasing the safety of every procedure performed at our hospital.
